What Our Church Teaches

Victory Baptist Church believes in the inerrancy and the infallibility of the Holy Scriptures.  We believe that the King James Bible, translated from the Hebrew and the Greek texts, is the Word of God for the English-speaking people.  While there are many other versions of the Bible out in the world today, the Victory Baptist Church family holds fast and firm to the purity of the King James Bible.  We make no apologies for our stance and believe whole-heartedly the following statement: Most of the other versions in circulation today contain parts of the Bible, while the Kings James is the Bible.

Victory Baptist Church believes in the atoning blood of Jesus Christ.  The Bible tells us in Hebrews 9:22 that "without shedding of blood is no remission."  In order for mankind to have a chance at redemption (or salvation), a sacrifice had to be made.  Up until the time of Jesus, the chosen seed of Israel turned their faith towards the lambs who would take their place on the altar in the tabernacle.  When Christ came on the scene, John the Baptist himself said about Jesus, "Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world."  Jesus Christ was the perfect lamb, who was sacrificed for all mankind so that we might be saved.
